Scottish Stained Glass Partners with Altar’d State for Stunning Stained Glass Display

We’re proud to announce our recent finished retail stained glass project with Altar’d State. This is the second project we’ve completed with this leading faith-based clothing retailer. Since Altar’d State is always opening new storefronts across the nation, each stained glass project requires a quick deadline. We love the stunning effect of this gorgeous circular design– each stained glass panel is curved to create this beautiful ceiling feature inside of their storefront. With any commercial project comes certain challenges and successes.

Creating Contemporary Retail Stained Glass for Altar’d State

The retail stained glass design created a 12-foot diameter circular ceiling feature crafted from individual, curved stained glass panels. The challenges that came with this project was the deadline and circular design. We had a two-week deadline from when we received the final measurements. This included design, manufacturing, shipping, and installation. Our team of eight stained glass artisans worked around the clock to ensure we were able to meet the deadline. Since each stained glass panel was curved, we had to build custom forms for each panel. Positive and negative forms were built so that we could work on both sides of the glass. A specially designed crate transported the panels to ensure curve support when these panels were completed and shipped directly to the store. Our installer worked all night to get all the panels installed– we are so proud that everything fit perfectly and that the owners were delighted with our fast and reliable work.
